Google, a people based business that has online products inspired, developed and innovated by its Googlers.
Google hires the best, they receive more than 2 million applications per year.
New Employees at Google are called Noogler’s. Pronounced New-gler.Google receives millions of applications because working for Google is Fun! There is even a Movie, The Internship,That is the greatest advert ever.
Google has their own set of terms that are used on a daily basis.
This smart way of creating fun language for work related people or processes helps indoctrinate Nooglers into the Google company values. Here are a few of the 19:
Plex - The Google compound, The Google Plex This is where the magic happens
Greygler - A Google employee over 40
Googlegeist: Not the Ghost of Google but rather the annual HR survey the employees love taking!– This shows great Internal Engagement at Google!

Google offers some of the best perks in the world. Have a look through this link - googles-culture-of-success, to see them, I want a Nap Pod!

The happy Nooglers are now in place and ready to start inventing and creating the Google Brand Contact Process Plan!

Our entire lives are touched by Google consciously or unconsciously.
From Google Hardware, to all the multitudes of various online programs like Google, Gmail, Blogger, Google Maps.
For the Brand Contact Strategy I am going to discuss one of Googles many products as they are all unique.

In creating Google Maps App, Google had to look from the outside in, in order to create and identify simple, user friendly elements that drive this Apps use-ability.
This program has a plethora (Google it, see what I did there) of Outside-In Contact points, essentially anything you can imagine to make it easier for the user.

Below we will look at some of the Primary Contact Points.

Google Maps is as its name says, a Map, but more than that, it is a highly powerful navigational app.

1)All of Google Maps Points of Contact

This program has a plethora(Google it, see what I did there!) of Outside-In Contact points, essentially anything you can imagine. These are inventoried in team meetings called Fix-Its! This is where the inventory of contact points is developed with respect to a navigational map tool.

2)Google Maps Primary Brand Contact Patterns
From the Fix It, Primary Contact Patterns Emerge. Those which the user and the company, use most often or have most in common.
Language - Google Maps is multi-lingual and will actually pick up the language of your current location in some instances.
Visual Map -Consistent, the map always have the same look and feel irrespective of which terrain setting you have
Input - Type and Google will find it and take you there.

3) Googles Most Important Brand Contact Points by Kloppers&North

The First Point of Contact is the user choosing Google Maps to get somewhere – App Icon!
Along the road Frequent Contact Points are Route Updates which keep the user engaged and informed. Points of Interest and Restaurants Nearby or Accident Awareness are Impactful Contact Points. Resonant Contact Points could be seen as Time by Modes of Transport and Home and Work Locations. Finally, You Have Arrived. The Final Contact Point.

4) Googles Brand Cohesion Strategy

Do all these features, contact points or touch points resonate with the brand strategy? I believe they do, Google is an Information Business, and thus Google Maps provides information through amazing touch points.

5)Google Manages Brand Contact Cohesion
The effectiveness of the Google Leaderships planning and implementation of The Google Brands ID and the effectiveness of its Employees to execute the Brand Plan.
Clearly this is extremely cohesive as Google is one of the most wanted to work for companies as well as Top 10 Tech (#3 actually) most valuable tech companies and although growing 10% vs 2017 it slipped from #1!

In closing, Google is Fun, this extends to Google Maps, did you know, you can turn your Google Maps into Pacman? Nostalgic Brand Contact Point!
